The Badge.Academy provided a neat and simple structure for both our staff and students to work through during the implementation of our Chromebook devices. It allowed the students to work through the success criteria at their own pace with a level of independence that encouraged problem solving and peer support. Being able to see the skills necessary for the use of Google Apps for Education prior to the roll out of our new devices also meant that the staff were able to get a head start on some professional development through the Badge.Academy, and achieve their own Digital Licence. The Badge.Academy has been a huge success for the students and staff in our school and has given parents a clear access point into their child’s digital learning.
